This page explains how Moneylisa collects and uses your personal data in plain language, as required under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019.

What we collect

Moneylisa keeps a focused record of the actions that help personalise art discovery.

Feed events — When you view, scroll past, stash, or purchase a piece, we record what happened and when.
Social interactions — We keep the likes, follows, comments, and shares you choose to make.
Affinity scores — Caleb builds a numerical summary of your tastes from feed events and interactions so your feed can reflect your preferences.

Why we collect it

We use collector data to improve relevance inside Moneylisa, not to power advertising elsewhere.

To personalise your feed — Caleb uses your affinity scores to surface pieces that align with your taste instead of showing every collector the same sequence.
To improve recommendations over time — We study aggregated, anonymised patterns across collectors to improve recommendations for everyone using Moneylisa.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising outside Moneylisa.

Your personal discovery controls appear after you authenticate with Moneylisa.

How long we keep it

Retention windows are fixed so discovery signals stay useful without living forever.

Raw data (full detail) — Kept for 12 months from the date it was created.
After 12 months — Your data is pseudonymised. Direct identifiers are removed from retained activity records, and any linking information is stored separately with restricted access.
After 24 months — All data, including pseudonymised records, is permanently deleted from Moneylisa systems.

How to request deletion

You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data tied to it at any time.

Request account deletion

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, feed history, and affinity scores. This action cannot be undone once the request has been verified and processed.
